Hi Shaun

The Orange Free State, Cape Colony and Wittebergen go with the Queen 's South Africa. This was for serving in the Cape and OFS and specifically in the battles in the Witteberg mountains.

The South Africa 1901 and South Africa 1902 go with the King 's Soutj Africa. This was for serving 18 months in South Africa in the second phase of the war after 1901, and that time coincides with Edward becoming King.

Both of these were for the Anglo boer War in South Africa.

I am on my phone so can't add a picture now.

Below is a pic of a group of medals similar to those you mentioned. This group belonged to a man in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.

Shaun,

Here's another view of how the medals might look. These are to the Bedfords but have a slightly different clasp combination.

Best wishes

thanks David for the info

Am I right in thinking that he could not of had a Orange Free State Clasp and a Wittebergen Clasp together it was one or the other if so which would take preference.
