DNW have this group to Capt C G Henty.

I was intrigued by the naming of the QSA as I hadn't noticed this style before. The unit name is 'Vl. Co. R.I.R.' Is this usual or used for officers?

Hello David,
I saw this group and I have to say it was not the naming on the QSA that caught my eye, but, the actual combination of medals, really very nice indeed.

Frank,

A very nice and unusual combination. It would fit well in many a Christmas stocking!

Hello David,
It is really very nice, not something that you see every day, even here, but, the real problem now, for me anyway, is that I have my fingers into just so many differant pies, I like everything these days, with the result that the Anglo Boer War is not always up there, as perhaps it should be, I was about seven when I became interested.

I'm going through an Orange River Sovereignty phase at the moment, this has proven rather time consuming, I have to say it really did not help to be the recipient of an email from Mr Hendy, our friend in the Colony of Natal, earlier this year, with the title "Forty Fifth Cutting" but, doubtless in the new year I'll be back with Operatiom Gomorrah and giving those awful wretched schloosers, Wagner's and Kuntz a good caning, I don't know, I like it all really, a little too much perhaps, moreover, its the agony of choice, Spink, DNW, City Coins and the dealer list, so much available, all at the same moment in time! :(

Kind regards Frank
