Yes, I know, not really of topic, I think we need to bare in mind that in the immediate aftermath of the events in the Spelonken in 1901, moreover, with General Beyers running amock with a large commando, swift and decisive action was needed, Kitchener was under a great deal of pressure to conclude this very expensive war, not everyone who deserved a medal actually got one, then, just as now, denial operations took place.

Sorry - No - I have nothing on him.

With a surname like Delaney I dont think he will be National Scout, but who know. I have boer medals to english surnames and the first names are afrikaans.
