Thanks. I've just found the list of units for the IY presentation on 26 July in The Times. Basically 40 men from each of the companies of the first contingent.

Unfortunately I can't upload the pdf.

A further report in The Times (15 August 1901) stated that the QSA medals for the Volunteer Service Companies should be presented locally and publicly by Lords Lieutenants or GOC Districts etc.

Interestingly the medals were issued without clasps which were supplied later.

Not really sure that I would want to, but, I suppose some people would.

Indeed (for LSH), at Buckingham Palace. I remember reading somewhere that they were issues un-named.
