Christmas arrived two days early for me today with the arrival in good order of the five lots I won from CC#71. All very well packaged and a nice touch with the lot number sticker on the envelopes making for a very satisfying experience of my first CC Postal Auction, which I thoroughly recommend provided your nerves can stand waiting to know whether your bids have been successful or not!

I look forward to the next CC sale event.

Again, many thanks to all involved with putting together this amazing event, and thank you to Henk for sharing his collection with us.

Probably this will seem like an absurd statement, but through a combination of pandemic lockdown, Xmas and work commitments, today was the first chance I have had to properly appreciate the medals I secured from this auction. Words can't do justice to the immense respect I feel towards Henk for curating such an amazing collection, and I feel honored and lucky to take just a few of them on. With hindsight, I wish I had tried for a couple more lots, but probably others might say the same about the ones I got, so I like to think of it as "swings and roundabouts"!

Don't quote me but I think there is one scheduled for next month or November - they normally happen around this time of the year.
