Good afternoon Paul,
I had meant to contribute to this last week, but, forgot to do so, anyway, this is Lieutenant Chalmers, a subaltern of Lord Lovat in his "Scouts" and yet another wayward son of Patrick Chalmers Esq.
Regards Frank

Frank,

I'm sure you're aware, but if not, there is a photograph of Chalmers (and his brother) in "The Muster Roll of Angus 1899-1900". Which one is yours?

Good morning Justin,
I am aware of The Muster Roll of Angus, but, I dont have a copy of it, so please do feel free to add a picture of the page if you wish, these are Lieutenant Cecil Chalmers, who was born at his ancestral home and family seat, in 1876, one of four brothers, the youngest, all sons of Patrick Chalmers Esq and part of a large family group in my collection that also includes his brothers medals.
Regards Frank

Please find attached! The Muster Roll of Angus was published in 1900 so does not reflect their later service.

Best wishes,

Justin
