David,

Very many thanks for the work on this. I was always of the opinion that there were just a handful or so who qualified for both.

Has anyone ever seen one of these verified medals?

Hello Adrian,
I have not, moreover, I had never had the chance to buy one either! :(
The pair to Doran would fit into my collection very well!
He has two pages in WO100/269 for both the 1st and 2nd Battalions, with his Elandslaagte clasp from the 1st, his KSA is in WO100/347.
Regards Frank

Adrian,

No, I have never seen a verified QSA with this combination. It would be true to say that I would like to one day.

Weldon of the French's Scouts was excluded from the Talana list as I believed he was one of the 40 or so QSAs with ineligible Talana clasps.

I have never come across any of these medals in my searches for extant Talana QSAs.
