Craig, 583 Trumpeter H A, Natal Carbineers | QSA (6) Tal Eland DoL Tr LN SA01 | Enlisted 12 Feb 99 and mobilised 29 Sep 99 to 31 May 02. Carried despatched to Elandslaagte during the battle. On 18 Dec 99 a shell from Bulwana landed near to him, killing others of his unit, but leaving him unharmed. Served in the Zululand Frontier 18 Sep 01 to 16 Oct 01. Part of the Coronation Detachment. Minniece, Major James, Royal Army Medical Corps | QSA (3) Tal Eland DoL | Died of enteric, Ladysmith, 17 Mar 00. He was born 9 May 1859, entered the RAMC as Captain 5 Feb 1887. Major 5 Feb 1899. He had served with a General Hospital during the Tirah Expedition, 1898-8. He went to South Africa with the Indian Contingent in Sep 1899, and was attached to the 5th Dragoon

Weldon of the French's Scouts was excluded from the Talana list as I believed he was one of the 40 or so QSAs with ineligible Talana clasps.
I have never come across any of these medals in my searches for extant Talana QSAs.
