Francis Deane Russell is my great great Uncle. He spent his entire life fighting, a most distignuished and wonderful life when you read his diaries. I have been desperately trying to purchase these medals back into the family. Sadly Spinks dropped the ball and let them go despite me being in contact with them for over 8 years when the medals came back to the market after the previous owner passed away. I was in direct contact with them. I would be interested to purchase the collection from the current owner for obvious reasons and would be most grateful for the opportunity to bring them back into the family fold.

Kind regards and best wishes,
Philip Russell
