Last noted as been hammered for £110 in 2005 by the same auction rooms.
Looking for Salutries, Salootries and Veterinary Duffadars.

Seeing that the gentleman in the pic has a sword, the "rifle" would actually be a .303" Martini-Enfield Cavalry Carbine (possibly Martini Metford). He also appears to be wearing a very decent strip of medal ribbons.

I got the same result after using www but nice to have it confirmed. The ribbons are more difficult.It looks like a strip of 4. Apart from the two India Medals I have no clue of what the others might be.
