I've come across a reference to a presentation of QSA medals by Lord Roberts at Exeter on 10 September 1901 including to members of the 4th Volunteer Battalion Devonshire who served at the front.

Does anyone have any information on this presentation?

I can't find much on line about this. Might the local newspaper have covered it? The Regimental Museum may also have some information?
