Here is one of my Canadian Scout medals.....

NATAL: 1906 - Private R.S. Rutter, Natal Rangers

That is a very common combination of medals for men who lived in late Colonial Natal. Your example has the added advantage of being to a man who presumably came to South Africa during the Boer War and then settled here afterwards. I have seen many other QSA/1906 Rebellion combinations, but yours is the first with a Canadian Scouts QSA.

A wonderful Pair of medals. Quite common to the Natal Police and other units as Brett mentions but this is special with the QSA named up to the Canadian Scouts.
