Apart from the post-nominal letters DSM, and the mention of a 'DS Medal', there seem to be two other oddities in the discharge certificate :
1 - it lists the King's SA Medal, which was not authorised until two weeks after the date of the certificate;
2 - Col Dalgety appears to have signed his name in pencil.
