I have long had this group www.angloboerwar.com/forum/5-medals-and-...osite-regiment#84660 to George Lawson of the Border Mounted Rifles who was in the Defence of Ladysmith and who stayed on and earned his KSA with the Natal Voluntary Composite Regiment. He was also part of the B.M.R. 1902 Coronation Contingent.

I was unaware that he had been awarded another QSA, this one off the V.C.R. roll to No. 178 (the same number as on his KSA) until a post on ebay caught my eye. It took many months of negotiation but eventually the deal was concluded and Lawson's full group is as shown below. My thanks to Howard Hill if he is a member here.

The "new" QSA is the first next to the Coronation Medal.
