Just a quick question with regards to the St. John's Ambulance Brigade Medal for South Africa......

I have seen photos or groups for sale with this medal mounted in various positions in groups......

1. Immediately after the QSA, or QSA/KSA Pair. (expect to be possible normal)
2. After the QSA, or QSA/KSA Pair and before WW1 Pair / Trio.
3. After the QSA, or QSA/KSA Pair and WW1 Pair / Trio but before the L.S.G.C.
And
4. After the QSA, or QSA/KSA Pair and WW1 Pair / Trio and after the L.S.G.C.

By L.S.G.C. I mean either the Army or Navy LSGC or the S.J.A.B. - L.S.G.C.

I have a couple of these medals and they are in different positions. Is there an official position in the order of wear?????

I think the general order of wearing medals is

VC then orders
Decorations
Gallantry
Campaign medals
Valuable service medals
Jubilee and Coronation
Efficiency and Long Service medals

In this basis, it should appear towards the end and after the LS&GC
