Gunner Cameron Murray, A Battery, R Aust Arty; Emb.30Dec1899; RTA reaching Sydney 15Sep1901; discovered his wife had developed an alcohol problem while he was serving overseas; left the Army and joined the NSW Fire Brigade Mar1903; sued for divorce in 1911; in 1918 he was Instructor of NSW Fire Brigades.

Artillery including 21 months in Boer War, discharged on own request; to Gunner 2DAC 16Sep1916; Emb.09Nov1916; to camp at Larkhill, England; to ER Bombardier 05Sep1917; to France 03Nov1917 and reverts to rank of Gunner; TOS 1DAC 11Nov1917; to hospital sick 09Dec1917; rejoined unit 14Mar1918; RTA 06Sep1919; Disch.05Apr1920 Medically Unfit with fibrositis; Died 08Jul1942.
