I have acquired an ABO to VK Adriaan Hendrik Du Preez and require assistance from the many forum members more familiar with the Boer side of things and who have access to the Boer casualty rolls.

From my translation and interpretation of the attached Vorm C, Du Preez was Wounded in Action twice - the first time was at the battle of Pienaar's River in 1901 (he couldn't recall the date) where he was "slightly wounded in the chest with shrapnel", and the second was at Potgietersrus on 24 January 1902, where he received "a bullet wound under my eye and in my leg". I am a bit hazy about the last part as it is proving difficult to make out the words in order to translate.

Any and all assistance greatly appreciated.
