I would appreciate any info on the Zoutpansberg Commando - having acquired the ABO to Veldkornet Adriaan Hendrik Du Preez, my interest in where they fought and what they did has been piqued.

I haven't started the process of researching the individual yet but I have heard that he was WIA.

AH du Preez was my great-great-grandfather. Don't have a lot of info, other than that he was WIA ("Licht" in the "borsteie") at Pienaarsrivier.

Served under Tom (John?) Kelly, Rossouw, and Gen Heyns (or Beyers)... He certainly didn't have a good hand. Some of it is unreadable. This info from the application for the Lint voor Verwonding.
