Army LS&GC GV 1st issue (633 Sjt: F. T. Chamberlain. M.F.P.) note differing initials

G T Chamberlain attested for the Royal Scots in August 1895. He subsequently transferred to the Military Foot Police, and served with them during the Great War (awarded LS&GC in May 1914).

Samuel Hockey. Born 1868 in Newington, London, Surrey, England. Service papers extant.

Clasps verified.

Both the QSA and KSA rolls contain this later annotation - 'Rep-Chelsea'

BWM and Victory Medal (42704 A.W.O. Cl 2 W.M. Wicks R. Scots) .

William Michael Wicks was born in Portsmouth enlisted as a Boy aged 15 19/9/92, served South Africa 1899-1903, convicted by DCM of drunkenness 29/7/13, discharged 18/9/13, re-enlisted 9/10/14, landed France 8/1/16, taken POW with 15th Bn at Croiselles 22/3/18, discharged 3/4/19.

Spink say he is confirmed on the roll for the above Medals and clasps and returned to England on 30 August 1902.
