Hi Everyone it's my first post on the forum, i'm desperate to find out if my Gtr..Gtr uncle John Parkin who was in the Devon imperial yeomanry 27th company 7th battalion and mentioned in dispatches where could i find the proof that he did in -fact collect his medal's ? any help would be much appreciated.

There is nothing on the medal roll to suggest he would not have received his medal. He seems not to have done anything to prevent the medal being issued (eg desertion) and the roll does not show his medal as being returned so you can presume the medal was issued. That's about as far as we can normally go in terms of issue confirmation.
