TOPIC:

A new acquisition arrived this morning - Corporal William Solomon of the ILI - this unit has always fascinated me and I agree with Meurig Jones that, despite no evidence of just who was "on the Kop" - the vast majority of ILI men were there, in the firing line. This brings to 5 the number of ILI men whose medal I have.

If anyone is able to shed some light on Mr Solomon I would be most grateful - I have not yet his papers from Kew.
