Can anyone help me identify W. Redman, 1st Battalion Gordon Highlanders service #55 please. I have been unsuccessful.

Did he serve in the Boer War? I cannot see anyone with that number or name in the Gordons.

A brief glance at WO100/59 confirms his entitlement to the 1882 Egypt medal, his number was actually 555.

Thanks for the reply, His name was given to me as part of a medal group found with a QSA and was told he was in the Boer war.

What is the exact naming on the QSA?
