Looking for value of this medal no bars possible snapped off and lost .

I found his record he is Gnr.Bland looks like he received 7 bars .

Silver does have it's basic scrap value as bullion, but, as long as the naming is clear and readable, it's value if actually reconstituted as a medal would be much greater.

The soldiers name and unit are block stamped and easily readable .
