There is very little written about Clarke's Light Horse.

It was part of the Tembuland Field Force and recruited between 1 July 1901 and 30 April 1902.

The medal roll cover three pages in WO100/239. There are 49 names. The AG2 block ways 38 medals issued 4 May 1907. The nett issue is estimated to be 28.

Captain W J Clarke after whom the unit was named appears to have been a local man with no service elsewhere.
