Has anyone ever seen or owned a medal to this lot? - 16 were issued to the Mounted Section

In my 45+ years of collecting I have never handle one to the unit.
Some years ago the QSA to Parkes surfaced on, I think, BidorBuy. By that time I had disposed of a great part of my QSA Unit Collection" and did not bid. It went for a hefty price

What's the category of rarity beyond hens' teeth?
