Hello Forum contributors;
I have the Vorm B & C for Burger Carl Schubert LUYT who was captured and sent to Ceylon as POW.
Can anyone confirm where he was captured and that he did go to Ceylon and what his POW number was.??
The information on the Vorms B & C is confusing. There is some info that indicates his capture was at Battle of Paardeberg but it maybe Acton Homes in Natal?
This fellow again enlisted for service in WW1 in the Potchefstroom Commando and the BWM & Vic medals indicate rank as ...E K M S what does the abbreviation indicate?
