TOPIC:

I have acquired a QSA to a 57th Company Imperial Yeomanry man - one Joseph Henry Perrigo - whose attestation papers state that he was in the Siege of Lindley.

Now I know all about the Lindley Affair but, as far as I was concerned it was Paget's Horse that was involved in that fracas and not the 57th (Buckinghamshire) - can anyone shed any light on the claim?
