Good Morning Everyone...…

There has been much chat about the people at Spion Kop and the South Lancashire lately.....

I am hoping that someone with more / better access to records that I have as I am wondering what happened to the following man...…
I have checked the casualty lists that I have and checked with FMP nothing found..... I do not have access to Ancestry...…
The following has only two bars and I was wondering if he had been wounded or possibly killed at Spion Kop......

CHADWICK, G.
REG. NO.: 3685
RANK: PRIVATE
REGT: SOUTH LANCASHIRE REGIMENT
BARS: TUGELA HEIGHTS, RELIEF OF LADYSMITH

Thanks in advance...….

Hi Mike

The QSA roll on Ancestry confirms the two clasps and notes Chadwick as 'invalided to England'. As he's not on the casualty lists he was presumably invalided due to sickness. No sign of any service papers on Ancestry.

David
