I am hoping that I can help a friend in South Africa make contact with the current owner of his Great Grandfather's QSA medal.

We are looking for the owner of this medal purchased from Baldwin of London in 2009:

QSA Medal with three clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State and South Africa 1901, awarded to 11100 Pte J Rennie 13th Coy, 46th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry.

Any help with this search would be much appreciated.

It would be worth while to place an advertisement in Medal News and use their medal tracker service, not, really much else you can do, it's normally just being in the right place at the right time, keeping a watchful eye on the trades stalls and sites.
Quite often, a particular medal can disappear for a generation or so, especially if it goes into a regimental collection, good luck anyway.
