I had to console myself with these two:

- South African General Service Medal with 1878 clasp to Capt. J. Thomas, Queenstown Burg. Force and his son's
- Queens South Africa Medal to Lieut. J.G. Thomas, Queenstown D.M.T.

Not a bad haul for a Friday
