M&E say confirmed on the roll. The 66th Battery RFA lost 4 guns at Colenso, where 6 VCs were awarded during the subsequent attempt to retake them, including Frederick Roberts, son of Lord Roberts of Kandahar who was mortally wounded. One VC and 13 DCMs were awarded to the 66th Battery for their part in the battle.
