Lieutenant John Anderson, Headquarters S, 1896 BSAC Medal...... He qualified for the Queens South Africa Medal with 4 clasps and King South Africe with two clasps. He also was awarded the DSO

Any can help with QSA bars and unit and well as DSO citation...

Pity only BSAC medal surfaced.

The DSO book has an extensive bio on him. In Boer War he served as the Supply Officer with the Rhodesia Regt 10/99 - 5/00 and then RFF 5/00-10/00 and then SAC to the end of the war. DSO "In recognition of services". There is a bit more you might be interested. If you like, I can post a copy of the reference entry (with a pic).

The big question I have is, what would one pay for the 1896 BSAC medal seeing that the other medals are missing and bearing in mind he was a DSO recipient.

Your input would be greatly appreciated.
