John Horatio Marshall died in 1905 of heatstroke whilst serving as Stoker 1st Class at sea near Aden. His 2 brothers served in the Anglo-Boer war, Isaac Ernest Marshall, Trooper 38861, 130th Westminster Dragoons and Charles Edward Marshall, Trooper 34970, 8th Company, 4th Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.
I wondered if John Horatio Marshall was involved in the war or if he received the Mediterranean Medal?
