I have just acquired the above pair which come with the clasps Wittebergen and Cape Colony on the QSA and the normal date clasps on the KSA.

The seller informs me that the chap had other non Boer War service with the B.S.A.P. with no. 116.

Does anyone have a muster roll to the B.S.A.P. or is anyone able to tell me where one could find a record of this service?

Regards

Rory

Rory,

I don't think there is anything here in the UK on the BSAP.

I can see his KSA as no 1282 on WO100/358p142 and QSA on WO100/238p28 with note saying the QSA was issued off the 2/Br Horse roll.

Re the 2/Br H service, there's an attestation paper for John James in WO126 and an entry in the nominal roll in WO127 (served 16 Mar 00 - 18 Aug 00) ( angloboerwar.com/unit-information/south-...rse?showall=&start=2 )

Best wishes
David
