Hello Mike

Happy Christmas - a great trio. Super ribbon on the HLI medals - are you keeping that, even as a curio?

Can you tell me the naming of the unit on Devlin's medal please, is it like:

1st NTHLD. VOL. ART.
or
1st NORTH'D VOL. ART

Thanks and regards

Wonderful stuff Mike :)

Like Meurig I am rather attached to the ribbons on the HLI pair. None I have ever seen before!

Regards

Rory

Good Morning Meurig / Rory

Yes the ribbon is quite interesting and is the first thing that caught my eye......
With each medal there is at least a foot of the ribbon, where the seller found it I have no idea.....

The exact naming on the Devlin Medal is:

7066 DR. C.W. DEVLIN, 1ST NTHLD: VOL: ART:

This is the second one to this unit that I now have but at the price I could not resist and had to grab it LOL..... As Frank says "It's Only Money"......

Mike

Thanks Mike.

Don't blame you, Lord Roberts' personal guns - doesn't get much neater than that. Someone needs to write their history.
