I discovered this (excellent) site in my quest to enhance my Huyser family tree. An entry in the ABO medal roll reflects the same names as my grandfather on my father’s side, namely Petrus Johannes Albertus Huyser (1881-1966). I do not unfortunately know much about him as we lived very far apart during my childhood, but there is a distinct possibily that it could be the same person. Any additional information or references will be sincerely appreciated.

If you have not already done so, it might be worth looking at the National Archives of South Africa online database. There are many files under the name Huyser, including several regarding claims for compensation after the Boer War. The files give only the description of the contents, so they have to be copied at the repository where they are located.
