I would like to know if anyone can shed some light on what medals the following recipient received any if any info available.

Sliegh, served in the Canadian Scouts from the 13th of May 1901 until the 19th of November that same year, he then served as a sergeant in the Field Intelligence Department from the 1st of December until the 5th of June 1902, the medal and five clasps as you point out, moreover, actually quite a scarce medal too, if any papers have survived they would be in WO126/16-17 at Kew.

Sleigh is not listed in the book Knowing No Fear.....

Will have to dig deeper.....

Hi Anthony.....

I cannot find him on the Canadian Scouts Roll.....

Not saying that there is not a supplementary roll that I do not know about.....

Is there any way that you can send a photo of the medal.....

I would like to know if Sleigh qualified for any other medals, like WWI, and WWII

Still looking......

Have contacted the author of the history of the Canadian Scouts to see if he has anything as he photocopied the majority of the records at Kew and in South Africa.....

I have noticed one thing I checked the medals that I have in my collection and all the QSA's are named: CANADIAN SCTS and of the 3 KSA's that I have 2 are CANADIAN SCTS and 1 is CANADIAN SCOUTS, (it was a late issue) the same as yours......

But a great mystery to look into.....
