Hello Brett,
The flag of St George is England and I can confirm it is flown here all the time except on Rhodes day, I do the actual day of the 5th of July and not the first monday of the month.
The other exceptions are Pioneer's Day 12th of September, Independence Day 11th of November and Shangani Day 4th of December, I don't do Founders Day or Republic Day.

I hope that you are not so cheeky as to fly the flag of St George and thereby upset passing immigrants. You are probably safe with the Rhodesian one, since it is unlikely to be recognised for what it is.
