Hello,

I'm hoping someone can help!

Has anyone seen anything similar in terms of silverware for this regiment? I'm looking high and low for a reference point and the internet is providing no answers!
Details i have are minimal:

Levi and Salaman, Birmingham 1902 with a (yet to be confirmed) possibly gold, capbadge.

Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Will

You do encounter this sort of thing quite often really, it was common practice to apply a white or gilding metal cap badge to match or cigarette boxes prior to 1920 or so, the gilding metal cap badge is not of the Anglo Boer War period, being approved for use, by the newly created regiment in 1903.
