I am trying to work out what the M.F.C is ?
A Football club from Scotland ?any suggestions gratefully received!

Hi Adrian
Motherwell Football Club has a rich history dating back to 1886, formed from a merger of two local clubs, Alpha and Glencairn. There was a Wilson playing in 1899......A possibility.

Motherwell Football Club certainly gave out tribute medals.

Sapper Walker, 1st Service Section, 1st Lanarkshire Royal Engineers (Vols), received his on his departure on 24 Feb !900.

I have added the Wilson medal to the database as a known example.
