Does anyone know anything about the Toronto Ladies' Tribute plaques to the Royal Canadian Dragoons?

George A. Brown (1991) lists an example to 124 Private William T. MORRISON, and there is one in the Canadian War Museum to 135 Private Richard William Edward SPICER. The plaque below is named to 42 Private Herbert Hatherley LOOSEMORE, [severely] wounded, Belfast, 07/11/1900. This would have originally been attached to a wooden shield.
So far I have been unable to find anything in the Toronto press regarding these.
