In William Corner's book on the 34th Company, there is a named picture of some of the men but sadly Edwards is not amongst them.



I had added the book to my site this afternoon. Edwards is briefly mentioned in chapter 40 , pages 427 and 430.

Thanks David - much appreciated. The mention of his wounding adds just that little bit more to the story. I might try the GWF for a photo, as I would guess there would be one somewhere, given he was a major when killed.

I checked The Times and there was no obituary for him, sadly.
