Hi I am researching my Great grandad Richard Ishmeal who lost his life in the Boar war.

I am also doing a lot of reserch in my general family tree. as well as the service of any of my relations during WW1 for a production a youth theatre I help with is doing.

I am a big lover of History in any form (Favorite is the industrial revolution) but I have to say I am really getting involved in the military side of it.

Pity this wasnt 10 years ago as I could have had fantastic discussions with my Dad about everything, just like my Son did, who is now a naval officer.
I am sure he would have known something about his granfather.
