Hi,
I am John, and I am trying to research my Great Uncle, Matthew Alexander Black who joined the South African Constabulary
10 February 1901 and was discharged 28 July 1902. Awarded the S.A Medal with ? clasps. His No looks like B?28, could be a 9.
I would like to identify as much info as I possibly can, so any help will be most welcome.
I am a retired Firefighter aged 73
Best wishes
John

John,
Medal rolls show his Regt.No. as RD 142
Medal roll entitlement to QSA shows Cape Colony, Orange Free State & Transvaal

John,
A supplementary medal roll shows entitlement to the date clasps South Africa 1901 & 1902 but not entitlement to the KSA
The Regt.No. on this roll shows 928
WO/272
