This is a very interesting site. My interest is in genealogy and I have recently connected with the South African side of my Dearlove family. Frederick Dearlove was killed serving with the Imperial Light Horse at Lambards Kop Nov 2 1899. Two of his brothers fought on the Boer side of the war, and survived. Seeing the pictures etc on this site really brings the war closer. If there are any suggestions on pics or research, I would greatly appreciate them- especially on the Boer side of war.
