I echo Mike's sentiments.

As a history teacher the following may interest you. This week, a Durban newspaper quoted a Cabinet Minister as saying that South African history is to be rewritten so as to more accurately reflect events of the past. Given the widespread antipathy to the Colonial period amongst the majority of South Africans, the Boer War could well be a casualty in the revision and so cease to be a subject taught in schools in this country.
