I have a medal in my possession. '1st Bat South staffs reg. So Africa 1900' How do I find out who was awarded it? It's been in the family unbeknownst to me.

Hi, welcome! If it is a British campaign medal then it should have the number, rank, name, and unit of the recipient on the rim. You can also attach photographs of the medal here if you like.
