TOPIC:

I am a retired member of the royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and I am new to the group and my reason for joining is to assist my research about Canadian Mounties who served in the Boer Wars. I am currently writing a book on all of the men who were or had been Mounties and died in that conflict. At least 454 men who had been or were still in the North-West Mounted Police served in the South African Wars. Of which 15 perished. As expected we have not found photos of most of them. Any assistance in this research would be greatly appreciate.
