Add Q164 above: Perhaps interesting for the Relief of Ladysmith researchers: In faint pencil text certain names of Officers in the front row are mentioned, together with a list of Officers not present . The mention of the fate of these men illustrates the incredibly heavy losses (wounded or killed) this unit sustained while General White was in Ladysmith turning his horses into Chevril. I applied some filters to make the names more or less readable.
