I have the QSA of Pte. C.C. Pike Cape Colonial Forces. (Cape Colony and South Africa 1902) Also entitled to KSA
It appears on his death certificate that he was the recipient of a War Pension. Does this indicate that he was wounded?
He was born in February 1887. Therefore 12 at the start of the war and 14 in 1901.
His father 62 Cpl. C.W. Pike (42) was in the Peddie DMT as was his brother 86 Tpr E.W. Pike (14) who also joined G Squadron CCF but not Charles Clifton Pike.
I can't trace any more information on them or their unit information.
The family can't tell me more either.
