I bought the QSA to the above mentioned man at the April DNW sale for just 60 quid plus fees. It has filled a gap in the collection for a member of the War Office bureaucracy albeit an employee in a minor role.

I have been finding plenty of history for Edward Preston Bareham during his time in South Africa and the UK, but I cannot raise the medal roll to show his entitlement.

I should be very grateful if anyone on the forum could please help me with finding the medal roll for War Office clerks. I have tried numerous searches without success.
Cheers,
Steve

I also looked at Edward Preston Bareham but in the end did not bid. If you PM me your Email address I will send you all the "raw" data I quickly extracted from the Web which includes a copy of the relevant QSA medal roll.

I had a quick look at WO100/216 where many clerks are listed in the first 140 pages but did not spot him. I would be interested to know the medal roll reference.

David,
From information kindly forwarded to me from RobCT, E. P. Bareham is to be found on WO100/233, the Medal Roll for "Army Stationery Depot Cape Town (attached) Army Ordnance Department."
Cheers,
Steve
